No longer in existence, United Pacific Insurance was founded in 1929 and was later acquired by Reliance insurance Company in 1966. Reliance filed for bankrupcy in 2001. United Pacific was one of the developers of the first Comprehensive General Liability Insurance policies and became the leading writer of surety bonds in the USA in the late 1990’s. United Pacific’s Surety operation was purchased by Travelers Insurance Company in 2000, before the Reliance bankrupcy.
<p>Sign/Plaque measures 9.5" X 9.5" in a black wood brorder with a ceramic center. It has a the Silver Dollar/Triangle United Pacific Logo and is in very good condition. This item is vary rare and would make a great addition to any insurance memorabilia collection.
