Rare print of the "FIREMARK" 175 Year Anniverarsy Celebration of The Fire Association of Philadelphia by Reliance Insurance Comany. This print of the cover art from the 1992 Reliance Firemark publication showing early firefighting scenes and marks from the company’s past. It is on high quality heavy paper measuring 11" by 13". Image portion is approximately 9" by 10.5" and there is a parchment colored border around, it giving an antique look. It would look great framed.
Reliance Insurance Company was one of the oldest insurance carriers in the United States, having been founded in 1817 (when it was the Fire Association of Philadelphia). The company recently filed bankrupcy ending a long and illustrious period of insurance history. While Reliance is gone now, their logo - The Fire Association fire mark, continues to be one of the most popular and recognizable marks in existence.
