Currier & Ives - "THE LIFE OF A FIREMAN - THE NIGHT ALARM - Start Her Lively Boys".  An old reproduction from a set of Currier & Ives lithographs from 1854 inspired by New York City Firefighting Scenes. Print  measures approximatly 15 1/4" by 11 3/4 with image area approximatly 13 1/2 X 8 3/4. This matte finish print is crisp and sharp with good contrast in its colors. It was disbound from an old vintage 1950’s book. This print is in very condition for it’s age. There is a very small piece missing from the upper left corner. A frame or very minor cropping would elimenate this issue. This is a must for any collector of firefighting memorabilia.
